New Business:
- LUC is asking to do a farmers market at the weekly bbq concert series during the summer, located in Ray’s Meadow. Not charge an entrance fee. Vegetable and crafts. Vendors will be charged a fee for Spot.
Discussion was had. Concerns about parking limitations; charging some people and not others; having craft vendors when we have sponsors that pay; worried about vehicle on field. Many committee members feel it will take away from BBQ. What is the revenue stream to LUC is it worth while? What is the purpose of changing the craft fair? Will they still have a craft fair?
Committee has asked for LUC to come to a meeting to discuss.
- Skate Park-Paul Lucci, presentation date.
- Rita would like for the cadets to come to a meeting to make a presentation on their findings on research of the skate park. Cadet’s suggestions: Camera’s at Skate Park and Bike patrols.
Committee would like to hear presentation on 12/2/13. Rita will email Paul Lucci.
